Who is responsible?
RonFit is responsible for the personal data described in this privacy policy. The details of the business are on the Company details page. Questions about privacy? Email ronaldoronfit@gmail.com or send a WhatsApp message to +31 6 2082 3402.
What data do we use?
Requests and intake (form)
- Data
- What you fill in yourself in the form, such as your name, contact details, goals, a short health check and how you found RonFit. The form also records which button, page and campaign you came from; that contains no personal data.
- Purpose
- To get in touch with you, schedule an intake and make a suitable proposal.
- Legal basis
- Steps taken at your request before entering into an agreement (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). For health data we ask for your explicit consent (art. 9(2)(a) GDPR).
- Retention
- Requests that do not lead to an agreement are deleted after 12 months.
- Processor
- Tally (tally.so) hosts the form and processes the data on our behalf. We have a data processing agreement with Tally.
Contact by WhatsApp, phone or email
- Data
- Your phone number or email address and what you tell us.
- Purpose
- To answer your question and make appointments.
- Legal basis
- Steps taken at your request before entering into an agreement (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in answering questions (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Retention
- Conversations that do not lead to an agreement are cleared after 12 months.
- Processor
- WhatsApp (Meta) also processes your messages itself, as an independent controller and under WhatsApp's own privacy policy. We have no influence over that.
When you become a client
- Data
- Your contact and invoicing details, appointments, training and progress data, and the health information you share with us.
- Purpose
- To carry out the agreement (training and coaching) and to invoice.
- Legal basis
- Performing the agreement (art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our statutory duty to keep records (art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). For health data: your explicit consent (art. 9(2)(a) GDPR).
- Retention
- Invoices and financial records: 7 years (statutory retention period). Training and health data: we keep your training schedule, photos and health data until 1 month after your last appointment. After that we delete them.
- Processor
- RonFit itself. We use service providers for our administration and email.
Website statistics (Google Analytics)
- Data
- Only if you choose “Accept” in the cookie notice: which pages you view and how you use the site, the type of device and browser, your approximate location and a random online identifier. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses.
- Purpose
- To understand how the site is used and to improve it.
- Legal basis
- Your consent (art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and art. 11.7a of the Dutch Telecommunications Act).
- Retention
- 14 months.
- Processor
- Google. If you do not choose “Accept”, the site does not connect to Google Analytics and sets no analytics cookies. We do not use advertising cookies or personalised ads.
Video
- Data
- Your IP address and browser details. The preview image of the intro video comes from YouTube (Google); the video itself only loads when you click play, through youtube-nocookie.com.
- Purpose
- To show the intro video.
- Legal basis
- Our legitimate interest in making the site work properly (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Retention
- That is up to Google; we do not store any of this ourselves.
Our server also keeps technical data, such as your IP address, the time and which page you request. We only use it to keep the site secure and available, and we do not keep it longer than needed for that.
Cookies and local storage
Without your consent the site sets no analytics cookies. If you choose “Accept”, Google Analytics sets two cookies: _ga and _ga_M00YV41VNH (up to 2 years). We store your choice itself in your browser's local storage (ronfit-consent), together with the time and the version of the notice.
You can change your choice at any time through at the bottom of every page. If you then choose “Decline”, we remove the Google Analytics cookies and measuring stops.
Who do we share data with?
- Tally: the request form (processor).
- Google: statistics (only with consent) and video.
- WhatsApp (Meta): messages, as an independent controller.
- Our email provider and the parties that host and maintain the website.
We do not sell your data. We only share it otherwise when the law requires us to.
Outside the EEA
Google and Meta may process data outside the European Economic Area, for example in the United States. They take appropriate safeguards for this, such as standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
You can ask us for access to your data, to correct or delete it, to restrict processing or to transfer your data. You can also object to processing based on our legitimate interest. Consent you have given can be withdrawn at any time; this does not affect processing up to that moment.

Do you disagree with how we handle your data? You can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens, autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl).
Changes
If anything changes in how we handle data, we update this policy. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
